The work 'Flames' by Henry Meynell Rheam was sold in the British and Continental Watercolours auction at Christies in London in July 2006. The auction ended at the price of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 4,391.65), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Henry Meynell Rheam have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Once Upon A Time (Snow White) in May 2011 with an auction result of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 42,595.49).

Die Arbeit 'Flames' von Henry Meynell Rheam wurde im Juli 2006 in der Auktion British and Continental Watercolours bei Christies in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 4.391,65) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henry Meynell Rheam auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Once Upon A Time (Snow White) im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.250,00 (€ 42.595,49).
