Auction result well in line with expectations

Admittedly, works by Henry Martens have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The cavalry regiments: The 2nd Dragoon Guards (The Royal Scots Greys) and the 19th Lancers at a mounted review, circa 1850 in November 2010 with an auction result of GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,883.75).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 400,00 (€ 574,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden.
