Despite a disappointment, a good price for Henry Lee McFee
When the work Still Life by Henry Lee McFee was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2004, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 19,120.00 (€ 15,650.32). Despite this disappointing result, Still Life is the most expensive artwork by Henry Lee McFee that we have observed at auction so far.

Als die Arbeit Still Life von Henry Lee McFee im Mai 2004 bei Christies in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
