Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work The circus by Henry Justice Ford for GBP 900.00 (€ 1,306.30). This price was achieved in the auction British and Continental Watercolours and Oriental at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Justice Ford achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Blue Parrot in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 27,927.23).
