Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Creeps Dig My Swamp by Henry Gunderson was sold in the First Open auction at Christies in New York in August 2020. The price achieved of USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,151.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Henry Gunderson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Globe Trotter in March this year with an auction result of USD 10,795.00 (€ 9,929.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Creeps Dig My Swamp von Henry Gunderson wurde im August 2020 in der Auktion First Open bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.375,00 (€ 1.151,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henry Gunderson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Globe Trotter im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.795,00 (€ 9.929,18).
