A top price for Henry Crowther - as previously expected
The work Wizard of Walmsley by Henry Crowther was sold in the Sporting Art and Dogs auction at Christies in London in November 2005. The price achieved of GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,762.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Wizard of Walmsley is the most expensive artwork by Henry Crowther that we have observed at auctions so far.
