A top price for Henry Crowther - as previously expected
The work Jewel of Walmsley by Henry Crowther was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2005. The price achieved of GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,762.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Jewel of Walmsley is the most expensive artwork by Henry Crowther that we have observed at auctions so far.
