A top price for Henry Crowther - as previously expected
In November 2005 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art and Dogs, which included the work Jazz of Walmsley by Henry Crowther. The price achieved of GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,762.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Jazz of Walmsley is the most expensive artwork by Henry Crowther that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting Art and Dogs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Jazz of Walmsley von Henry Crowther zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.200,00 (€ 1.762,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Jazz of Walmsley das teuerste Kunstwerk von Henry Crowther, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
