ARCTIC · AMERICAS · AFRICA · ASIA · AUSTRALASIA · ANTARCTICA, which included the work The Cuban Rainforest by Henry Cleenewerck. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,280.97), 63% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Henry Cleenewerck; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A Cuban Landscape With Drovers And Cattle Fording A Stream sold at auction in November 2020 with the realized price of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 48,839.76).
