The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,491.00 24% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Henry Chalfant have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Subway Portfolio in April 2015 with an auction result of USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,198.71).

Die Arbeit Vulcan And Koor (Artrain Graffiti Train) - 1986 von Henry Chalfant wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Urban Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.491,00 und damit 24% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henry Chalfant auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Subway Portfolio im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.198,71).
