This artwork by Henry Chalfant achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in October 2021. In the Public Intervention: Art of the Street auction, the work Blade sold for USD 6,930.00 (€ 5,998.96) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Henry Chalfant; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Subway Portfolio sold at auction in April 2015 with the realized price of USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,198.71).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Henry Chalfant erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Public Intervention: Art of the Street wurde die Arbeit Blade für USD 6.930,00 (€ 5.998,96) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 2.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Henry Chalfant; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Subway Portfolio im April 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.198,71).
