Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dondi - 1980 by Henry Chalfant was auctioned at Artcurial in February 2015. It changed hands for a price of EUR 2,340.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,800.00 – 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Henry Chalfant have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Subway Portfolio in April 2015 with an auction result of USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,198.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dondi - 1980 von Henry Chalfant kam im Februar 2015 bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 2.340,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.800,00 – 2.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henry Chalfant auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Subway Portfolio im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.198,71).
