Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2018 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Urban Art, which included the work Bill Blast Cordero / American Dreams (Artrain Graffiti Train) - 1986 by Henry Chalfant. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,355.00. Admittedly, works by Henry Chalfant have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Subway Portfolio in April 2015 with an auction result of USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,198.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2018 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Urban Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bill Blast Cordero / American Dreams (Artrain Graffiti Train) - 1986 von Henry Chalfant zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.355,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henry Chalfant auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Subway Portfolio im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.198,71).
