Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2004 Christies in New York held the auction THE HOUSE SALE, which included the work In Full Cry by Henry Bernard Chalon. The price achieved of USD 6,572.50 (€ 4,854.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Bernard Chalon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Reverend George Bower, The Reverend John Bower, Robert Bower of Welham And Robert Bower Junior At The Steps of Welham Hall, Yorkshire in May 2006 with an auction result of GBP 45,600.00 (€ 66,561.15).

Im Dezember 2004 führte Christies in New York die Auktion THE HOUSE SALE durch, in der auch die Arbeit In Full Cry von Henry Bernard Chalon zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.572,50 (€ 4.854,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henry Bernard Chalon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Reverend George Bower, The Reverend John Bower, Robert Bower of Welham And Robert Bower Junior At The Steps of Welham Hall, Yorkshire im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 45.600,00 (€ 66.561,15).
