Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Self portrait. by Henri Sert was sold in the Modern Art + Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in May this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 42,000.00 (€ 3,618.92) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Henri Sert have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November this year with an auction result of SEK 175,000.00 (€ 15,369.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Self portrait. von Henri Sert wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 42.000,00 (€ 3.618,92) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henri Sert auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 175.000,00 (€ 15.369,45).
