In March 2010 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Tartanes Dans Le Port De Saint-Tropez by Henri Person. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 12,113.00 35% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Henri Person have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Baie De Cassis in October 2018 with an auction result of EUR 84,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Im März 2010 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tartanes Dans Le Port De Saint-Tropez von Henri Person zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 12.113,00 und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henri Person auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Baie De Cassis im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 84.500,00.
