Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2001 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS INCL. COPIES AFTER OMPIX, which included the work A still life with flowers in a jug by Henri Le Fauconnier. The price achieved of EUR 1,645.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,400.00 – 2,300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri Le Fauconnier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Village au bord d'un lac in November 2020 with an auction result of USD 47,812.50 (€ 40,017.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2001 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS INCL. COPIES AFTER OMPIX durch, in der auch die Arbeit A still life with flowers in a jug von Henri Le Fauconnier zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.645,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.400,00 – 2.300,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri Le Fauconnier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Village au bord d'un lac im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.812,50 (€ 40.017,16).
