The work Still Life Of Three Skulls by Henri Leys was sold in the Important Old Master Paintings and Sculpture auction at Sothebys in New York in February 2013. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,645.84), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Henri Leys have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mary of Burgundy distributing alms in July last year with an auction result of GBP 50,400.00 (€ 60,186.55).

Die Arbeit Still Life Of Three Skulls von Henri Leys wurde im Februar 2013 in der Auktion Important Old Master Paintings and Sculpture bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.645,84) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henri Leys auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mary of Burgundy distributing alms im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.400,00 (€ 60.186,55).
