Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Crossing the lake by Henri Jacques Delpy was sold in the Nineteenth Century European Art auction at Christies in London in September 2007. The price achieved of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 2,150.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Henri Jacques Delpy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A summer afternoon by the riverside in April 2000 with an auction result of GBP 5,287.50 (€ 9,051.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Crossing the lake von Henri Jacques Delpy wurde im September 2007 in der Auktion Nineteenth Century European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 2.150,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henri Jacques Delpy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A summer afternoon by the riverside im April 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.287,50 (€ 9.051,99).
