It achieved a price of USD 69,300.00 (€ 58,001.34), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri Gervex achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French rolla in May 2016 with an auction result of GBP 1,385,000.00 (€ 1,807,278.85).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 69.300,00 (€ 58.001,34) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri Gervex erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French rolla im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.385.000,00 (€ 1.807.278,85).
