Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2004 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Watercolours including Original Book, which included the work Travellers in an open landscape before sun-drenched hills (illustrated); and Travellers resting by a stream with a hamlet beyond by Henri Désiré Van Blarenberghe. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,226.50 (€ 4,566.39). Other works by Henri Désiré Van Blarenberghe have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,238.34) in January 2019 for the work A Pair Of Military Scenes: A) An Encampment, With Three Mounted Soldiers, And Three Others Gaming; B) A Military Convoy By A Stream.

Im Dezember 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Watercolours including Original Book durch, in der auch die Arbeit Travellers in an open landscape before sun-drenched hills (illustrated); and Travellers resting by a stream with a hamlet beyond von Henri Désiré Van Blarenberghe zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.226,50 (€ 4.566,39) einen neuen Besitzer.
