Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2007 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work In the pasture by Henri de Beul. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,875.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Henri de Beul have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'arrivée d'un troupeau de moutons au plateau de Koekelberg, Août in October 2003 with an auction result of EUR 8,962.50.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2007 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit In the pasture von Henri de Beul zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.875,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henri de Beul auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L'arrivée d'un troupeau de moutons au plateau de Koekelberg, Août im Oktober 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.962,50.
