In the A Visual Odyssey Selections from LAC (Lambert Art Collection) Staged by Jacques Grange auction, the work Salerno, Italy, 1933 sold for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 29,723.44) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Henri Cartier-Bresson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work On the Banks of the Marne, France in April 2017 with an auction result of USD 212,500.00 (€ 195,043.60).

In der Auktion A Visual Odyssey Selections from LAC (Lambert Art Collection) Staged by Jacques Grange wurde die Arbeit Salerno, Italy, 1933 für GBP 21.250,00 (€ 29.723,44) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henri Cartier-Bresson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit On the Banks of the Marne, France im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 212.500,00 (€ 195.043,60).
