Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Eunuch of the Imperial Court, Beijing, 1948 by Henri Cartier-Bresson was sold in the Photographs From The Estate of Thomas T. Solley auction at Christies in New York in February 2007. It achieved a price of USD 7,200.00 (€ 5,442.18), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri Cartier-Bresson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work On the Banks of the Marne, France in April 2017 with an auction result of USD 212,500.00 (€ 195,043.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Eunuch of the Imperial Court, Beijing, 1948 von Henri Cartier-Bresson wurde im Februar 2007 in der Auktion Photographs From The Estate of Thomas T. Solley bei Christies in New York versteigert.
