Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work A Harbour Scene With A Large Flute, A Small Cargo Ship, A Kaag And Other Shipping Moored, With An Elegant Couple And Other Figures In The Foreground by Hendrik van Minderhout for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,022.87). This price was achieved in the auction Old Masters Day Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hendrik van Minderhout achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Extensive Rhenish Landscape With Peasants And Animals Resting In The Shade Of Romanesque Ruins in January 2015 with an auction result of USD 245,000.00 (€ 217,006.20).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A Harbour Scene With A Large Flute, A Small Cargo Ship, A Kaag And Other Shipping Moored, With An Elegant Couple And Other Figures In The Foreground von Hendrik van Minderhout für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.022,87) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Masters Day Sale bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hendrik van Minderhout erzielen.
