In the Palais Abbatial de Royaumont - Exposition au Palais Abbatial de Royaumont - Vente chez Christie's auction, the work Etude d'animaux: boeuf, mouton, chien, chèvre changed hands for EUR 137.50 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 800.00 – 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hendrik Gerrit ten Cate achieve.
