Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2012 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters and 19th Century Art, which included the work A river landscape with figures outside an inn on the river bank by Hendrik de Meijer. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hendrik de Meijer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Boats And Ships On The River Maas, The Grote Kerk And Dordrecht In The Distance in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 29,300.00 (€ 37,353.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2012 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A river landscape with figures outside an inn on the river bank von Hendrik de Meijer zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hendrik de Meijer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Boats And Ships On The River Maas, The Grote Kerk And Dordrecht In The Distance im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 29.300,00 (€ 37.353,36).
