A top price for Helyne Jennings - as previously expected
In November 2005 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included this untitled work by Helyne Jennings. The price achieved of GBP 120.00 (€ 176.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 100.00 – 150.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Helyne Jennings that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im November 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Helyne Jennings zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 120,00 (€ 176,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 100,00 – 150,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Helyne Jennings, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
