In February 2010 Phillips in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day, which included the work Lick-Lack by Helmut Dorner. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,458.68), 56% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Helmut Dorner; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Dis sold at auction in February 2011 with the realized price of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,141.14).

Im Februar 2010 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lick-Lack von Helmut Dorner zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.458,68) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Helmut Dorner; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Dis im Februar 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.141,14).
