Auction result misses estimated price range
In March last year a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Helen Khal for GBP 7,560.00 (€ 8,963.23). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century Art / Middle East at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Helen Khal have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November this year with an auction result of GBP 69,300.00 (€ 80,303.63).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Helen Khal für GBP 7.560,00 (€ 8.963,23) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Helen Khal auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 69.300,00 (€ 80.303,63).
