This artwork by Helen Khal achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in November this year. In the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art auction, the work without title sold for GBP 44,100.00 (€ 51,102.31) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 22,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Helen Khal; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in November this year with the realized price of GBP 69,300.00 (€ 80,303.63).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Helen Khal erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 44.100,00 (€ 51.102,31) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 22.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Helen Khal; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 69.300,00 (€ 80.303,63).
