Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Circular Composition) by Helen Khal was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in May this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 20,160.00 (€ 18,922.47) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Helen Khal have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November this year with an auction result of GBP 69,300.00 (€ 80,303.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Circular Composition) von Helen Khal kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 20.160,00 (€ 18.922,47) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Helen Khal auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 69.300,00 (€ 80.303,63).
