Despite a disappointment, a good price for Helen Feiler
In August 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Rocks and sea by Helen Feiler for GBP 480.00 (€ 713.79). This price was achieved in the auction British, Continental and Russian Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 1,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Rocks and sea is the most expensive artwork by Helen Feiler that we have observed at auction so far.
