Despite a disappointment, a good price for Helen Feiler
In August 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Rocks and sea by Helen Feiler for GBP 480.00 (€ 713.79). This price was achieved in the auction British, Continental and Russian Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 1,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Rocks and sea is the most expensive artwork by Helen Feiler that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Helen Feiler
Im August 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Rocks and sea von Helen Feiler für GBP 480,00 (€ 713,79) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion British, Continental and Russian Pictures bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 1.000,00. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist Rocks and sea das teuerste Kunstwerk von Helen Feiler, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
