Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Helen Feiler could be acquired at Christies in London in August 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British, Continental and Russian Pictures auction, the work Porthmeor beach and boat changed hands for GBP 420.00 (€ 624.57) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 800.00. Other works by Helen Feiler have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in August 2006 by the work Rocks and sea at GBP 480.00 (€ 713.79).
