A top price for He Zhuo - as previously expected
In April this year POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Calligraphy by He Zhuo. The price achieved of HKD 45,600.00 (€ 46,566.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 35,000.00 – 50,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Calligraphy is the most expensive artwork by He Zhuo that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im April diesen Jahres führte POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy von He Zhuo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 45.600,00 (€ 46.566,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 35.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Calligraphy das teuerste Kunstwerk von He Zhuo, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
