A top price for He Qiyuan - as previously expected
In July 2020 Christies in New York held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Quails by He Qiyuan. The price achieved of USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,184.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Quails is the most expensive artwork by He Qiyuan that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Juli 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Quails von He Qiyuan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.184,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Quails das teuerste Kunstwerk von He Qiyuan, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
