Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cranes / Swallow by He Qiyuan was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,500.00 – 5,500.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,750.00 (€ 1,486.33) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by He Qiyuan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Quails, which sold at auction in July 2020 for USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,184.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cranes / Swallow von He Qiyuan kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.500,00 – 5.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.750,00 (€ 1.486,33) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von He Qiyuan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Quails beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.184,98) versteigert wurde.
