A top price for He Haixia
When the work Majestic Mount Hua by He Haixia was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2017, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - HKD 600,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than four times as high at HKD 2,460,000.00 (€ 280,898.90). This high result makes Majestic Mount Hua the most expensive artwork by He Haixia that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für He Haixia
Als die Arbeit Majestic Mount Hua von He Haixia im Mai 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der obere Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – HKD 600.000,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit HKD 2.460.000,00 (€ 280.898,90) mehr als viermal so hoch. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Majestic Mount Hua zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von He Haixia, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
