Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Woman and White Horse by He Duoling was auctioned at POLY in December 2020. The price achieved of HKD 4,720,000.00 (€ 497,857.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 4,000,000.00 – 6,000,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by He Duoling - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Unknown, which sold at auction in May 2014 for HKD 13,240,000.00 (€ 1,252,170.09).

Die Arbeit Woman and White Horse von He Duoling kam im Dezember 2020 bei POLY zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 4.720.000,00 (€ 497.857,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 4.000.000,00 – 6.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von He Duoling mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Unknown beobachtet, die im Mai 2014 für HKD 13.240.000,00 (€ 1.252.170,09) versteigert wurde.
