Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2016 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Rear Window No. 2 by He Duoling. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 1,840,000.00 (€ 212,669.96), 23% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by He Duoling have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Unknown in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 13,240,000.00 (€ 1,252,170.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rear Window No. 2 von He Duoling zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 1.840.000,00 (€ 212.669,96) und damit 23% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von He Duoling auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Unknown im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 13.240.000,00 (€ 1.252.170,09).
