Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2003 Christies in New York held the auction The House Sale, which included the work Autumn Landscape With Houses by Hazel Finck. The price achieved of USD 2,151.00 (€ 1,707.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hazel Finck - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Backyard, which sold at auction in July 2002 for USD 3,585.00 (€ 3,659.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2003 führte Christies in New York die Auktion The House Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Autumn Landscape With Houses von Hazel Finck zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.151,00 (€ 1.707,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Hazel Finck mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Backyard beobachtet, die im Juli 2002 für USD 3.585,00 (€ 3.659,66) versteigert wurde.
