This artwork by Hayv Kahraman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Doha in April 2013. In the Contemporary Art / Doha auction, the work Heads On Plate sold for USD 60,000.00 (€ 45,565.01) - well above the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hayv Kahraman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Kawliya Dance, which sold at auction in October 2018 for GBP 118,750.00 (€ 133,913.36).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Hayv Kahraman erzielte im April 2013 bei Sothebys in Doha einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art / Doha wurde die Arbeit Heads On Plate für USD 60.000,00 (€ 45.565,01) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Hayv Kahraman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Kawliya Dance beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für GBP 118.750,00 (€ 133.913,36) versteigert wurde.
