Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Gate 6 by Hayv Kahraman was auctioned at Christies in Paris in June 2021. The price achieved of EUR 62,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hayv Kahraman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Kawliya Dance, which sold at auction in October 2018 for GBP 118,750.00 (€ 133,913.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Gate 6 von Hayv Kahraman kam im Juni 2021 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 62.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Hayv Kahraman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Kawliya Dance beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für GBP 118.750,00 (€ 133.913,36) versteigert wurde.
