Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Hassan Soliman could be acquired at Sothebys in London in October 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century Art / Middle East auction, this work without title changed hands for GBP 4,410.00 (€ 4,896.93) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hassan Soliman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Last Supper in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 171,750.00 (€ 124,664.30).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hassan Soliman konnte im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 4.410,00 (€ 4.896,93) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hassan Soliman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Last Supper im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 171.750,00 (€ 124.664,30).
