This artwork by Hassan Soliman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in November last year. In the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including Baghdadiyat Part IIIThe Finale auction, the work Solitude sold for GBP 19,125.00 (€ 22,161.51) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hassan Soliman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Last Supper in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 171,750.00 (€ 124,664.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hassan Soliman erzielte im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including Baghdadiyat Part IIIThe Finale wurde die Arbeit Solitude für GBP 19.125,00 (€ 22.161,51) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hassan Soliman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Last Supper im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 171.750,00 (€ 124.664,30).
