Auction result well in line with expectations
In January this year Bonhams held the auction Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online, which included the work Nubian Village by Hassan Soliman. The price achieved of GBP 2,550.00 (€ 2,894.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hassan Soliman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Last Supper in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 171,750.00 (€ 124,664.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nubian Village von Hassan Soliman zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.550,00 (€ 2.894,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hassan Soliman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Last Supper im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 171.750,00 (€ 124.664,30).
