Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hindiii by Hassan Hajjaj was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2020. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,115.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hassan Hajjaj - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Master Cobra Mansa, which sold at auction in May this year for USD 32,760.00 (€ 30,749.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Hindiii von Hassan Hajjaj kam im März 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.115,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Hassan Hajjaj mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Master Cobra Mansa beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für USD 32.760,00 (€ 30.749,01) versteigert wurde.
