Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Riders) by Hassan El Glaoui was sold in the Modern and Contemporary African Art auction at Sothebys in London in March 2021. The price achieved of GBP 30,240.00 (€ 35,524.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hassan El Glaoui have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Moroccan La Sortie Du Roi in April 2019 with an auction result of GBP 137,500.00 (€ 159,952.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Riders) von Hassan El Glaoui wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary African Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 30.240,00 (€ 35.524,21) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hassan El Glaoui auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Moroccan La Sortie Du Roi im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 137.500,00 (€ 159.952,24).
