Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Untitled (Cavalcade De Chevaux En Liberté) by Hassan El Glaoui was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 18,000.00 – 24,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 15,120.00 (€ 17,926.46). Admittedly, works by Hassan El Glaoui have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Moroccan La Sortie Du Roi in April 2019 with an auction result of GBP 137,500.00 (€ 159,952.24).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Untitled (Cavalcade De Chevaux En Liberté) von Hassan El Glaoui im März letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 18.000,00 – 24.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 15.120,00 (€ 17.926,46) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hassan El Glaoui auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Moroccan La Sortie Du Roi im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 137.500,00 (€ 159.952,24).
