Auction result well in line with expectations
The work On Turkey Street by Harry Rountree was sold in the British and Continental Watercolours including Original Book auction at Christies in London in December 2004. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,075.50 (€ 1,522.13) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Harry Rountree have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work On The Tee in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,849.26).

Die Arbeit On Turkey Street von Harry Rountree wurde im Dezember 2004 in der Auktion British and Continental Watercolours including Original Book bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.075,50 (€ 1.522,13) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
